ABOUT US
Everywoman Festival is more than just an event. Itβs an uplifting, engaging space designed to help women feel informed, confident and connected at every age and stage of life. We believe that understanding our bodies shouldnβt feel complicated or clinical, it can be inspiring, empowering and even enjoyable. Too often, women are told that changes to their bodies are something they simply have to accept. Weβre here to open up conversations about health, break down taboos and empower women across generations.
Our festival combines credible information with feel-good energy. Across one inspiring day, youβll find expert-led talks, myth-busting sessions, practical workshops and creative experiences designed to make womenβs health engaging and relevant. From puberty to menopause and everything in between.
What makes us different is that we are clinically led and community powered. We bring together up-to-date, evidence-based information from clinicians and health professionals, with the stories, voices and lived experiences of women themselves. We tackle key health issues with credibility, inclusivity and impact, and weβd love for you to be part of it!
Whether you join us to learn something new, explore ways to support your wellbeing or simply enjoy a fun, inspiring day out with friends, Everywoman Festival is where knowledge, joy and community come together. Youβll leave feeling educated, empowered and supported.
OUR STORY
The Everywoman festival was founded by Professor Julie Cornish, a colorectal consultant surgeon with a specialist interest in pelvic health and cancer. Julie set it up after being frustrated at hearing so many similar stories of women accepting symptoms and a poor quality of life and being told their symptoms are normal because of their hormones, that theyβve had a baby or are getting old. We believe that women should know how their bodies work, what can go wrong and where to look for help.
Dr Google can be a scary place and misinformation/disinformation is an increasing issue, particularly across social media. EWF aims to provide access to evidence based information with expert speakers and signposting to services across the NHS, third sector charities and organisations and private services.

Iβm Dr Liz OβRiordan, a breast surgeon whoβs had breast cancer. Iβm an author and a speaker and Iβm passionate about educating women about their health. My secret weapon is myth-busting. After speaking at Everywoman in 2024, I was blown away by the talks and workshops on offer. It was incredible to see girls and women buzzing and I knew I had to get involved. Iβm proud to be an ambassador for this incredible event. This year is bigger and better, with a new menopause tent and a focus on body image. Iβll see you there for a selfie!
